    The 2015 Jaguar XF kept the same seductive look of the 2007 British saloon, but somehow it manages to be even better looking. Underneath though, lies a completely new platform better than the old S-Type platform which was used for the first generation of the XF. The wheelbase was increased by 55 mm (2,1”), reaching now a total of 2960 mm (116.5”). The result is an increase in the rear passenger’s legroom. But, since the front overhang is shorter by 66 mm (2.6”), the total length is slightly shorter than the previous XF. But the biggest gain is that the weight distribution is now 50:50, offering better handling for the car.

    Jaguar installed a new adaptive suspension which monitors body movement 100 times per second and wheel movement 500 times per second. For better traction, the XF may be fitted with all-wheel-drive, for the V6 engines. It features an 8-speed automatic transmission and a chain drive transfer case. It is claimed that it is quieter. The same system was present on other premium vehicles before.

    For the infotainment unit, there is a 10.2” touchscreen and Dual View technology. This allows the driver to see the navigation system while the right passenger can watch a movie. For a better sound experience, the vehicle features an 825W Meridian system with 17 speakers.
