The biggest seller of the Morgan Motor Company, the Morgan Plus 4 was a 2-seater sports car with a retro, classical design.

Around since 1950, the Plus 4 didn’t change much when it comes to the exterior look, as the body was still curvy with chrome accents, and the front fenders were pretty much 2/3 of the car’s length.

Fitted with a 2.0-liter 40cylinder engine, the Plus 4 had 153 hp under the hood. While it might not sound like a lot for a sports car, the vehicle weighed only 900 kg.

Not designed to offer a modern ride, the Morgan Plus 4 did not offer a light steering or a very comfortable ride. The main purpose was to build a car that would provide a raw experience, with the heavy steering that made its drivers feel more connected to the road.

The Morgan Plus 4 was not an easy car to drive, as even tiny mistakes would not have been forgiven or compensated with an adaptive suspension or features enhancing comfort.

The cabin had a spartan design, however, it was beautifully finished with comfortable leather. We can tell that great attention was paid to the details by looking at the perfectly crafted stitchings.

The noise wind inside the Plus 4 was atrocious, but really, nobody bought a Plus 4 to complain about the wind and the suspension. The experience offered was unique and driving the classic vehicle was challenging to say the least.
