Just like the original Datsun 240Z, the Nissan 350Z was fast and fun, pretty much like a pure sports car, offered with an affordable price.

Designed as an every day sports car, the Nissan 350Z offered a firm ride, had an abrupt throttle response and still featured a useful cargo space.

Both the coupe and the convertible got important updates for 2005, such as new features and revised transmissions.

The sporty 350Z was fitted with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that developed 287 and all model featured the same sports suspension.

Other features included a 6-speed manual gearbox, a drive-by wire throttle, vented discs, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, as well as as automatic climate control and a premium stereo system.

The Nissan 350Z was available in no less than 5 trim levels: base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track.

In the base version, the roadster featured 17-inch alloys, dual stage, air bags, automatic climate control, power windows, power door locks, power side mirrors, a leather steering wheel, cloth upholstery and a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Enthusiast trim level added xenon headlamps, cruise control, traction control, aluminum pedals, an optional 5-speed automatic transmission and a 4-way power driver’s seat. This trim level was among the top choices of the customers.

The Performance model only added a few features and was only available with a manual gearbox, while the Touring version added leather upholstery, heated seats, heated exterior mirrors and a premium sound system, however, it dropped the aluminum pedals and the Vehicle Dynamic Control. The Touring model paired with the 6-speed manual added 18-inch alloys and the aluminum pedals.

The top-of-the-range, the Track model came with improved performance and added vented Brembo brakes, 18-inch alloys, front and rear spoilers, cloth upholstery, xenon headlights, a tire-pressure monitor, illuminated visor vanity mirrors, HomeLink and the aluminum pedals.
