M to the BMW, AMG to the Mercedes and CTS to the Cadillac. Pretty clear that we’re talking about the sports version of the model.

The Coupe was the last addition to the V stable, besides the sedan and the wagon. The coupe had the same wheelbase as the sedan, however, its height was lowered.

Not much different from the previous generation, the refreshed CTS-V came with a side blind zone alert system and a few extra paint colours.

In the front, the first thing to notice was the iconic Cadillac badge on the already familiar chromed grille. The bulging hood added to the aggressive design of the coupe.

From the side, the Coupe showed the true spirit of the American cars. The door handles were hidden to create a cleaner look.

In the back, the Coupe had the signature vertical lightning and the brake lamp was integrated in the rear spoiler.

Under the rear-bumper, in the center, we could find a dual exhaust with round tips.

Since the exterior was beautiful, muscular and solid, we should be able to say the same about the engine. And we are.

Under the hood, the coupe hosted a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine, producing no less than 556 HP. The engine could be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a no additional cost 6-speed automatic.

The CTS-V Coupe had a front to rear weight distribution of 51 to 49, creating a very stable car on turns at higher speeds.

With a similar price as the Mercedes C63 AMG, the CTS-V was more powerful, one of the quickest production cars on the planet.
