Along with the introduction of the facelifted version for the A3’s fourth generation, Audi also launched a new version for it, the A3 allstreet.

In its almost thirty-year career, the A3 went through some serious changes. Audi offered it as a three- or five-door hatchback, a convertible, or as a sedan. But in 2024, along with the introduction of the A3’s refreshed fourth generation, the German automaker introduced a new version: the allstreet.

At the front, the A3 allstreet had a slightly different front fascia than its siblings. It looked like its singleframe grille was carried over from the non-facelifted version of this moniker. It was taller than the one found on the A3 Sportback. It was black and didn’t feature a chromed trim around it. Underneath, the automaker placed a satin-silver colored lip spoiler that tried to mimic a rock slider underbody shield. Audi used the same color to decorate the fake side intakes. Another significant change was for the headlights, which were LED as standard. The car manufacturer installed a new set of LED headlights, with two other options, including a Matrix-LED system.

From its profile, the vehicle’s higher ground clearance and the black moldings on the wheel arches made it look like a baby A4 Allroad. Furthermore, the black side sills created the illusion of a higher ground clearance. In addition, the standard 17-inch light-alloy wheels sported a unique design for the A3 allstreet, with an option for 18- or 19-inch sets. Finally, at the back, the new version of the A3 featured a lower satin-silver plastic element that mimicked an underbody metallic shield, while the rectangular side scoops echoed those installed on the front bumper.

Inside, Audi tried to spoil its customers with rich features that were included as standard. In addition, the dashboard was adorned with new cloth materials in its lower area. Thanks to the new blade design for the vents, these appeared to be narrow. Fronting the driver was the instrument panel’s display, also known as the Audi Virtual Cockpit. In addition, the German automaker installed a 10.1-inch touchscreen atop the center stack that controlled the MMI (Man-Machine-Interface). Along with the rest of the A3 range, the automaker also offered customers the possibility to install third-party apps on the infotainment system. Audi redesigned the center console and adorned it with a matte metallic finish that matched the color of the door handles. Furthermore, vehicles fitted with an automatic transmission featured a new drive selector resembling a slider that moved front and rear. Another unique detail of the cabin was noticed on the door cards that featured 300 cuts for the ambient lighting. Behind the rear split-folding (40/20/40) bench seat, the luggage compartment offered a capacity of 380 liters (13.1 cu-ft) and up to 1,200 liters (42.3 cu-ft) with the rear seats completely folded.

Like its Sportback and Sedan siblings, the 2024 A3 allstreet was available right off the bat with a choice of two engines: a 1.5-liter TFSI (turbocharged, direct fuel injection) and a 35 TDI powerplant. Both were paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic (dual-clutch) gearbox.
